Even now, the most common model used in healthcare IT contract staffing and consulting could been summed up as little more than a ‘speed game’ where the job requirements can usually be determined during a 5-minute phone call with the hiring manager and then the race to submit candidates begins.

Unfortunately, most recruiters have little or no experience in healthcare IT and the job descriptions and requirements they receive from their customers are often misinterpreted and in many cases are not thorough enough to properly qualify candidates.
